Longview Early Edition Rotary was chartered on June 11, 1980 with 30 members that met at the Monticello Hotel.  It started as a spin-off from the Longview Noon Rotary Club.  The club meets each Tuesday at 7:00 a.m. in the Lower Columbia College Student Union Building.

Longview Early Edition Rotary supports great community projects, like the Catlin Rotary Spray Park, the annual Harvest Classic Run/Walk to support the Help Food Warehouse, Dictionaries for Children, Relay for Life, and a number of other projects locally as well as International Service.

Longview-Kelso Babe Ruth 2009 World Series is an 8 day, 10 team event that features co-host teams from Longview & Kelso Babe Ruth, along with 8 regional champions from all across America.  Held at David B. Story Field at Lower Columbia College, this is the fifth time since 1990 that Longview-Kelso, Washington has hosted this event.
