Tom Ladouceur for Prosecutor: I will work hard to protect the public by enforcing the law thoroughly, professionally and fairly.

Since 1990, Tom has lived and practiced law in Cowlitz County. He has extensive experience in criminal law, having served as deputy prosecutor for Cowlitz County, Woodland city prosecutor, Cowlitz County District Court Judge pro team, and public defender.  He has practiced in virtually every area of criminal law, and has represented the State, the city of Woodland, and individuals in well over 100 jury trials.

In his spare time, Tom plays music both professionally and in a variety of community bands, and is an avid bicyclist.  His jazz quartet, Left Coast Jazz, can often be heard around town.

His supporters include attorneys, former deputy prosecutors, members of law enforcement, teachers, and a host of others who care about the community and the criminal justice system.

Why an online directory?

Face it, phone books are not as useful as they used to be. They haven’t gotten more difficult, but we’ve gotten used to how easy it is to utilize the web. If you are near a computer, you can find a local business @ CowlitzToday quicker than flipping through the phone book. (Now where is that book again?)

Each online local directory allows you to browse like you would a phonebook or use the handy dandy search box to find, rate and review virtually anything in our local communities.

We created the directories to help local businesses be easier to find in Cowlitz County and across the world wide web. The directories were designed with the search engines in mind, so that people who use the major search engines will view our site and therefore relevant local businesses. More and more (and more) businesses are asking us how to improve the free listing in the city directories. But, wait there is more…

Up-to-date info. A phone book is updated once a year vs. CowlitzToday is continually being updated with new information. You can update your listing as often as needed. Our business listing holders are continually improving the site with their updates.

So why are the listings free? What’s the catch?

We want to be a genuine resource to our community. If we were to just pick a handful of businesses to list, it wouldn’t be as useful to find what you are looking for. Sorry – no catch. But, many have gotten hooked.   ~:-)

So without further ado, (or typing) Here are the basics for getting the most out of your free business listing:

Category: Select a category that best fits your organization. Don’t worry if you can’t find the right category we will find a category or create one for you.

Website Name: Enter your company name here, not web address

URL: (Universal Resource Locator) a.k.a. web site address. Enter it here and people can click through to your site.  Be sure to double-check your web site address. One wrong letter and no web site. Computers aren’t so forgiving.

No web site. No problem. You don’t need a web site to be listed at CowlitzToday.com. People can still call or visit your place based on your description.

Description: Tell the visitors about what you are offering. Assume they’ve never heard of your organization. In contrast to phone books that have limited space, this online directory allows for a few sentences of description of your company beyond a basic phone number and address.

Address: Provide your address and google will give directions to your door.  Warning – no matter how hard you click on a phone book listing it will not give you directions. Though people may start to stare at you…

Keywords: You are encouraged to enter keywords or phrases that describe the products and/or services you provide. For example, a chiropractor would benefit from entering chiropractic, clinic, back pain, whiplash, chiropractors, health, holistic health care.

Tip: Be sure to also include any mis-spellings of your company name and products. Hey just because they can’t spell chiropractic, doesn’t mean they don’t need an adjustment.

Reciprocal Link URL: Linking back to CowlitzToday.com actually improves your ranking at our site.

Button Image URL (optional): For no cost you can personalize your list with your company’s logo.

Your eMail: Enter your eMail so you can continue to keep your listing updated. We don’t share your eMail with anyone. It is not included in your listing because nasty spammers love to harvest eMail addresses from sites, and we just don’t think that is very nice.

Ready to update your listing? I thought so. You’ll need your listing ID and password.

To find your Listing ID, simply search for your listing and then click on details. Your details page shows your ID #.

Forgot your password? Click on the modify icon and then click forgot password. It will be sent to the registered again via eMail. And if all else fails you can call our studio as request that we help you update your info. (360-575-9839)

Rating Listings: CowlitzToday.com visitors can rate and review your business! The more ratings your business enjoys, the higher your “rank” in the CowlitzToday.com search engine.

So tell your customers and clients and friends that your business information can be found at CowlitzToday.com, and ask them to rate and review your business and services.

All reviews are subject to approval, and are thoroughly screened for appropriate content. We have seen that of our hundreds of reviews already posted, that 98% are positive!
